Astrum music publications award

With its publishing activity, the music publishing house ASTRUM significantly co-creates the choir space and promotes Slovenian composers at home and abroad. Through its presence at major world events, it has been supporting the choir movement and the a new generation of composers among world choirs for decades.

The Academic Choir of the University of Primorska regularly cooperates with the publishing house in the publication of commissioned compositions and their promotion with recordings on the publishing house's website and publication in collections.

CATEGORY D - The ASTRUM music publishing prize (no age limit)

   Only Foreign choirs (not Slovenian) can participate in the category by making a video in which a composition by a 

   Slovenian composer is recorded.

• The composition must be written in the 20^th or 21^st century.
• The maximum total video time allowed is 6 minutes.
• The composition can be performed with melodic instrumental accompaniment. It is allowed if it is provided in the original of the selected song.
