Meetings
As part of the festival, two new CDs by composers Tina Bec (on the 30th anniversary of her birth) and Ambrož Čopi (on the 50th anniversary of her birth) will be presented. For this purpose, their works will also be heard as part of the Aegis carminis 2023 festival.
Composer Tine Bec is celebrating the 30th anniversary of her birth. On this occasion, the author's CD UBI CARITAS ET AMOR was released, which was co-created by the KGBL Chamber Choir, APZ of the University of Primorska and the Camerata academica Koper orchestra. We placed a number of the composer's compositions in the program scheme of the conducting competition. We will meet the composer and have the opportunity to listen to his compositions at the final concert of the Aegis carminis conducting competition on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 8 p.m.
The new CD SING JOYFULLY by composer and conductor Ambrož Čopi will present his sacred music for equal voices. The CD was co-released by the Girls' Choir of the Koper Music School, the Vikra vocal group of Glasbene matice, Trieste and the Ljubljana Vocal Academy. The composer's works will be presented at the Saturday concert, March 25, 2023, at 8 p.m.
